One thing we built: Unimancer, a pattern intelligence layer positioned under Jane, spun off from Replicator S121. The pitch was in its own name for it — "master of universals" — a layer meant to sit above individual repos and read the pattern across all of them, not just one.
No build date is on record for this one, and no earnings target is either. What is on record is where it ended up: `state: archive`, `level: recorded`. It has a home in the internal record — that's what `recorded` means — but nothing is running.
It stopped for the reason most things here stop: attention, never the market. Nobody made the case that a pattern layer needed to exist before something else needed building more. Replicator S121 spun it off, and the spin-off didn't get picked back up.
What the estate does differently now isn't a lesson pulled from this one repo — it's just the arithmetic of the estate it sits inside. 318 repos exist. 177 of them are already in the same `archive` state Unimancer is in. That's not a failure rate, it's the shape of the portfolio: most things built here get tried, recorded, and set down, and a minority stay live. 171 domains sit in the estate alongside those repos — the domain layer and the repo layer are counted separately, and Unimancer never had one of its own (`domain: null`).
Nothing about Unimancer got a post-mortem beyond that. It isn't deleted — `recorded` means the file with its name and its one-line pitch still exists, searchable, in a system where 318 repos are tracked against 177 archived and 171 domains. That's the whole difference between this one and a repo that just vanished: this one is still counted.
